Ever wanted to start a micronursery in your backyard? Meet up with like-minded plant nerds to get better at growing some of the awesome native, edible, medicinal and resilient plants around you! Whether you set up your "micronursery" with one or two plants for free as a gift to your community or to grow a small side business, you are needed as never before! It doesn’t have to be big (could focus on one type of plant you LOVE) or even sunny (many forest perennials LOVE dappled shade). We need more ecological diversity and resilience in our backyards, landscapes and gardens. In this 4-session meet-up we will dive deep into some options for how to get started, how to avoid overwhelm, and how to set up systems that make growing a joy (not a chore!). There is a kind of power growing together, and being part of a community that allies itself with life-giving plants.Â

In this webinar we will quickly talk through the best practices for establishing a meadow without herbicides? We'll discuss strategies for how and when to grow a meadow successfully, as well as simple strategies to enhance your backyard biodiversity, make maintenance as low as possible, and how to make it look attractive and intentional.

Rather than offering landscaping services directly, I serve as an ecological coach, accountability partner and guide—someone to help you clarify your goals, uncover insights from the land itself, map out next steps, and build momentum toward a thriving, resilient backyard ecosystem.Â
My time is limited these days (two little ones keep me busy!), but I’m committed to supporting passionate, self-motivated individuals ready to deepen their relationship with their land!Â
